July - August 2023

As part of our commitment to regular, ongoing communication we wish to provide you with an update on key upcoming works over the next month. If you would like further information about the project, please contact Centre Management by clicking here.

Reopening car park areas

We are pleased to confirm that works in some areas of the car park have come, or are coming, to a close, allowing us to reopen temporarily closed sections.

Earlier this month we reopened the middle section of the Level 1 car park and from early this week we will reopen the sections of the LG and G and Level 1 car park adjacent to the Target entrance. Pedestrian access points into the Target end of the centre from these car park areas will also reopen. We are enacting changes to our traffic management plans to ensure movement within the car park remains as seamless as possible.

For your reference, and to further assist you navigate throughout the car park, see below which areas of the car park are open for use.

Retailer updates

As we wrap up the car park works adjacent to the Target entrances, the works occurring within the directly affected speciality tenancies in the Target end of the centre are also coming to a closeExcitingly, we will be welcoming back Lush their former location in early August. The other temporarily closed retailers in this space will be returning soon as well.

Our team works hard to ensure we continue to provide an exceptional shopping experience, and we are thrilled to have recently introduced concept stores from JD Sports, Samsung, Footlocker, Rebel, and Converse.

Urban Diner Works

On 12 July, works commenced in the Urban Diner precinct, resulting in some temporary changes to our retail offer in the space and pedestrian navigation throughout the precinct.

Temporary Retailer Closures

For our contractor to complete the necessary works, they require access to the tenancies in this precinct, resulting in the following changes:

Pancake Parlour, Mama Mee, Dumpling Story and Nandos will temporarily close for the duration of the precinct works.

The Australia Post smart lockers and post boxes have been relocated next to the Coles entry.

The Library has temporarily relocated to a space opposite Village Cinemas

While it is still too early to confirm exact timings, we expect to conclude the works in this area and welcome back those retailers that temporarily closed or relocated in early to mid-2024.

We appreciate there might be some increased levels of noise and vibration in this precinct during this time. We are focused on minimising these impacts as much as we can and have in place a number of mitigation measures. Please contact Centre Management if you’d like to know more.

Temporary Access Arrangements

To allow contractors to access the precinct, the 15min loading zones outside Mama Mee and Pancake Parlour will be removed for the duration of the works. The works will also necessitate the removal of the no standing zone outside the Urban Diner.

The installation of hoarding around these works will also necessitate changes to the movement of vehicles and pedestrians around the precinct. We have worked with expert traffic specialists to determine a comprehensive management and wayfinding plan to ensure that these changes are as seamless as possible.
