As part of our commitment to regular, ongoing communication with our retail partners we wish to provide you with an update on key upcoming works. If you would like further information about the project, please contact Centre Management.
As per our last update to you, we are embarking on Stage Two of the project, which will occur predominately in the Myer-end of the centre. These works necessitate the closure or relocation of several stores.
Over the next fortnight, Sun Churro will close. Their last day of trade will be 27 February 2024. Note: dates are based on information at a point in time and are subject to change
In addition to these upcoming closures, we can confirm that Village Cinemas, Myer, Cupcake Queens, Chirnside Café, Mimco, and La Porchetta have also recently closed.
Following these closures, additional hoardings will be installed throughout this area of the centre. We have a construction management plan in place to mitigate the impact of these changes on our community.
While it is still too early to confirm final timings, we expect that the works that necessitate these store closures will conclude in stages in the second half of the year. We will continue to keep you updated as final timings are confirmed.
On Friday, 16 February, the area of the Level 1 car park adjacent to the Myer entrance closed for our contractor to undertake waterproofing works. We expect to reopen this section by the end of March 2024. Pedestrian access through this area of the centre will remain open throughout this period.
Works continue as planned in the Ground Floor area of the car park near the Seed/Swarovski entrance to the centre. We expect this area to reopen at the end of March 2024.
For your reference, see below which areas of the car park are currently closed:
Note: this map is accurate as at Friday 16 February 2024, is for illustrative purposes only, indicates the approximate area of the works and is not to scale.
